Telangana Residential School student dies by suicide in Karimnagar
Vanam Srivarsha, a 14-year-old Class X student at Telangana Residential School (Girls), Vangara, died by suicide on Friday. She was found hanging in her dormitory. Police have registered a case and shifted the body for postmortem.
Karimnagar: Class X student Vanam Srivarsha (14) of Telangna Residential School (Girls), Vangara, Bheemadevarapalli mandal, died by suicide on Friday.
According to school authorities, Srivarsh, who had not attended morning assembly, was found hanging in the dormitory when other students searched for her. She died by the time the school staff rushed.
A native of Rangapur of Huzurabad mandal, Srivarsh is studying Class X in Gurukulam school and returned back to school on Thursday after Diwali vacation.
It is learnt that in the morning, she called her parents and asked them to take her back home. Though the parents promised to take her back home, the girl took an extreme step.
Police visited the spot and began investigation by registering the case. Body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
