Kumram Bheem Asifabad: MLA Kova Lakshmi said it was unfair for Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to make ‘objectionable and filthy comments against former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. She took part in the burning of an effigy of Revanth Reddy by cadres of BRS here on Saturday.
Lakshmi found fault with Revanth Reddy for stating that Chandrashekhar Rao would be crushed to death by bulldozers if he stops rejuvenation of Musi river.
She stated that the BRS was exposing the government’s efforts to waste crores of public money under the guise of rejuvenation of the river.
The MLA further said that everyone was entitled to express their views in democracy. She opined that the Chief Minister making such a derogatory remark against the former Chief Minister was shocking. She added that Rao was an inspiring person.
She demanded Revanth Reddy to withdraw his comment and to tender an apology to the people of Telangana.
