Hyderabad: The Telangana Rifle Association (TRA) felicitated K. Tanishq Muralidhar Naidu and Esha Singh for their outstanding achievements at the recently concluded Asian Shooting Championship.

Tanishq won two medals: a bronze in the 25m standard pistol (junior men) and a gold in the 25m standard pistol (junior men’s team event).

Esha Singh secured a bronze in the 25m pistol women’s team event.

TRA President Amit Sanghi congratulated both shooters for their remarkable accomplishments.

“These shooters’ discipline, commitment, and mental strength under pressure are truly commendable,” Amit said. “These are the qualities that make a huge difference at the highest level,” he added.

The TRA chief also encouraged young athletes to practice mental training by journaling their thoughts and feelings during every shot, a habit that can help them replicate their best performances consistently.

“We also thank the families and friends for their wonderful commitment to support their kids who have taken up shooting,” Amit said.

Chief guest and Tandur MLA Buyyani Manohar Reddy appreciated the medalists for bringing international recognition to Telangana. He assured continued support to the state’s sporting ecosystem and encouraged more youngsters to take up shooting and make Telangana proud.
