Hyderabad: Over 2,500 police personnel and more than 1,000 surveillance cameras will secure the Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled to take place at Maheshwaram and Mirkhanpet on December 8 and 9.
The Rachakonda Police have laid out an extensive, multi-layered security plan for the high-profile international event.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner, G Sudheer Babu on Friday held a review meeting with the Summit Organising Committee and other department officers with a focus on inter-departmental coordination, logistical support, and on-ground requirements.
The summit is expected to feature nearly 600 delegates, including international investment groups, global CEOs, domestic industrial leaders, and entrepreneurs, accompanied by about 3,000 support staff.
Accordingly, all VVIPs will be protected with three-tier security, backed by Law and Order, Traffic, Special Branch, Intelligence, OCTOPUS, Greyhounds, Dog Squad and Bomb Squad teams.
Officials said all CCTV cameras will be integrated into a central police command and control room for continuous monitoring.

Also, a dedicated Women’s Wing and She Teams unit will ensure the safety of women speakers, entrepreneurs and investors attending the summit.
