Sangareddy: Sangareddy police nabbed a four-member gang of thieves and recovered 29 tolas of gold ornaments, 47 tolas of silver ornaments, Rs 4 lakh in cash and a two-wheeler from them on Wednesday.
The accused were Marla Yadagiri, his wife Anitha, Talari Lakshmi, a close relative of the couple and a 17-year-old boy from the family. DSP Sattaiah Goud said the gang was involved in 53 theft cases under different police stations in Sangareddy, and Vikarabad district and Cyberabad police commissionerate. The accused, who were produced before a court, were remanded.
