Telangana: SBI celebrates 66th State Bank Day

SBI has more than 45 crore customers and has reached great heights with the support of customers

Hyderabad: State Bank of India (SBI) Hyderabad Circle celebrated the 66th State Bank Day across branches and offices in Telangana and as a part of the celebrations, several community service banking activities, felicitation functions, tree plantations were taken up on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Om Prakash Mishra, Deputy Managing Director, said, “SBI has more than 45 crore customers and has reached great heights with the support of customers. It is the second largest bank in the world and is the only Indian bank in the top 25 technologically advanced banks in the world.”


Mishra said the bank launched a unique campaign “I am the ‘I’ in SBI”, unveiling of ‘I’ mirrors at all branches across the State. “These mirrors make every employee and customer feels and believe that their relationship is symbiotic and both exist because of the other.”
