Telangana: SCCL mega job mela to be held in Godavarikhani
A mega job mela at Jawaharlal Stadium, Godavarikhani, aims to employ 3,000 youth. Organized by Singareni Collieries, it features 100 recruiters. SCCL plans more job melas and skill centers in coal belt areas
Peddapalli: The stage is all set for the mega job mela to be held at Jawaharlal Stadium, Godavarikhani, on Sunday.
In order to provide employment to the youth of the coal belt region and children of coal miners, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited is organizing a job mela and has made elaborate arrangements.
About 100 from Hyderabad and other areas are going to part in the mela and recruit 3,000 youth for various jobs.
SCCL chairman N Balram, in a statement, informed to conduct similar job melas in other coal belt areas. Stating that the Singareni was taking steps to provide employment to the youth in SCCL as well as helping them to secure employment in other organizations, he asked the youth to utilize the opportunity.
Informing that SCCL had set up skill development centres in Ramagundam-I, Mandamarri and Bhupalapalli areas to train the youth to secure employment, he assured to establish more centers in more coal belt areas to help the youth to secure jobs in their chosen career.
