Telangana School Education dept directs DEOs to shift surplus teachers
The Telangana School Education Department has instructed district educational officers to re-deploy surplus teachers to government and local body schools facing shortages.
Hyderabad: The School Education department has directed all the district educational officers (DEOs) to initiate steps to shift surplus teachers to the needy government and local body schools across the State.
In a proceeding issued on Monday, Dr. E Naveen Nicolas instructed officials concerned to take up the adjustment of teachers after analysing school-wise and subject-wise requirements based on the student enrolment in each school as on June 20.
He asked the DEOs to depute surplus teachers to schools where vacancies arise due to retirement, long leave or any other reasons within the district.
