Hyderabad: After a three-day holiday, the schools across the State are set to reopen on Saturday.

The School Education department announced short-term holidays for all missionary schools from December 23 to 27, while the other schools had holidays on December 25 and 26.

The schools, other than missionary, are to open Friday. However, the State government declared holiday to all educational institutions, government offices and announced a seven-day mourning in the State as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Meanwhile, the schools will have a five-day short-term holiday for Sankranthi festival. The schools will remain closed from January 13 to 17, 2025. However, this short-term holiday schedule is not applicable to missionary schools.
