Hyderabad: After constituting coordination committees at both the State and district levels, the State government has now activated a round-the-clock multi-agency Command and Control Centre at the Errum Manzil office to monitor State-wide LPG distribution.
The centre was launched on Saturday and uses real-time GPS tracking to monitor gas distribution across the State, ensuring uninterrupted supply to domestic consumers and priority commercial sectors. Functioning as the State’s central hub to identify and resolve supply bottlenecks, the facility maintains close oversight of the entire supply chain. To ensure transparency, the government has directed all major Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to provide State officials with immediate access to their fleet GPS tracking systems.
Representatives from Indian Oil (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), the police, the industries department and distributor representatives are physically stationed at the command centre on a rotational basis to ensure seamless coordination and a rapid response to any supply fluctuations.
