Telangana: Seven held for gambling in Mancherial

Seven people were arrested for illegal gambling at a residence in Mandamarri town, Mancherial district, on Sunday. Police seized Rs 38,150 in cash, six mobile phones, during the raid, following a tip-off

Mancherial: Seven persons were arrested for allegedly indulging in banned gambling at Shantinagar in Mandamarri town on Sunday. Police seized liquid cash Rs 38,150, six mobile phones from the seven.

Police said that Katta Durga Rao, Pudama Shiva, Mekala Raj Kumar, Katta Ramana, Thanneru Ravi, Garika Kumar and Dasari Narsaiah were apprehended while committing the offence at Shiva’s residence, following a tip off.


Mandamarri Inspector commended Sub-Inspector Rajashekhar, ASI Milind Kumar, constables Rakesh, Srinivas, Vishnwanth, Krishna and Chaitanya for arresting the seven.
