Telangana shines with 20 medals at IPA Pickleball Nationals
Telangana Pickleball Association celebrated a fine show at the IPA Pickleball Nationals in Bengaluru, winning 20 medals. Led by captain Sreekar Mothukuri, the contingent saw standout performances from Preety Reddy, Naga Moksha, Siyona Gaddam and the mother-son duo Aruna Bhaskar and Vijay Tej

Hyderabad: Telangana Pickleball Association (TPA) proudly announced the exceptional performance of the Telangana State contingent at the IPA Pickleball Nationals held in Bengaluru.
Telangana fielded the largest contingent in the championship, reflecting the state’s rapidly expanding pickleball ecosystem and its strong commitment to nurturing talent across all levels, former Davis Cupper and Secretary of TPA J Vishnuvardhan said.
Team Captain Sreekar Mothukuri led by example, guiding the Men’s 40+ team to a gold medal while also securing two silver medals in the Men’s Doubles 30+ and 40+ categories.
Preety Reddy delivered an outstanding all-round performance with one silver medal in Women’s Team 40+ and three bronze medals across Women’s Doubles 40+, Women’s Singles 40+ and Mixed Doubles 40+.
Rising star Naga Moksha dominated the junior field, clinching two gold medals in the Girls’ Under-18 Singles and Under-18 Mixed Doubles.
In a heartwarming highlight, the mother-son duo of Aruna Bhaskar and Vijay Tej returned home with a silver and bronze medal respectively in their categories.
The youngest member of the contingent, Siyona Gaddam, showcased remarkable promise by winning the silver medal in the Girls’ Under-12 category.
The Telangana team delivered exceptional performances across age groups and divisions, concluding the tournament with an impressive 20-medal haul in both team and individual events.
