Siddipet: The Siddipet Municipality won the best Self Sustainable City in south India in Swachha Sarvekshan Awards-2021 announced by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Municipal Chairperson K Manjula and Commissioner KV Ramana Chary received the award in the presence of Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration N Satyanarayana. Finance Minister T Harish Rao congratulated the people of Siddipet, officials and elected representatives for their collective effort in making Siddipet the best city in south India. He said that Siddipet has become a source of inspiration for the rest of the urban bodies in Telangana.
