Telangana Sikhs to observe 350th Martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahebji
Sikhs in Telangana will commemorate the 350th martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahebji from November 23–30 with Nagar Kirtans, Kirtan Darbars, and Vishal Diwans. The celebrations coincide with the 350th Gurta Gaddi of Guru Gobind Singhji

Hyderabad: The Sikhs in Telangana will observe the 350th Martyrdom of Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahebji, on a large scale between November 23 and 30. Guru Tegh Bahadurji is revered for his sacrifice in defence of human dignity and religious freedom. His life and courage will be honoured through Nagar Kirtans, Vishal Kirtan Darbars on his teachings and martyrdom, a press release said.
Large-scale events will be organised under aegis of Prabandhak Committee, Gurudwara Saheb Sitafalmandi, Secunderabad, in cooperation with all the Sikh Gurudwaras of Telangana, which features Nagar Kirtan, Kirtan Darbar and Vishal Diwan. The GSS will also organise the 350th Gurta Gaddi of Sri Guru Gobind Singhji.
Bhai Anantvir Singhji (USA wale), Bhai Gurdev Singhji (Australia wale), Bhai Amarjeet Singh Taan, Gyani Sher Singhji (Ambala) and other Ragi Jathas will render shabad keertans and kathas in mass congregations.
Prabhandak Committee of Gurudwara Saheb Sitafalmandi, Chairmen, Harpal Singh and Kanchan Singh, President, Pratap Singh, Vice President, Rajender Singh, General Secretary, Ranjeet Singh and Joint Secretary and Coordinator Jagjeet Singh said that in connection with 350th Gurta Gaddi of Sri Guru Gobind Singhji, a Kirtan Darbar will be organised on November 23 at Municipal Grounds, Chilkalguda.
