Telangana: Six-day yoga camp begins at NTPC ahead of International Yoga Day
NTPC Executive Director underlines the importance of yoga in maintaining both physical and mental health

Peddapalli: Ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21, the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has launched a six-day yoga camp for employees and their families.
The camp began on Saturday at Jyothi Function Hall, NTPC, and will continue till June 20. It is aimed at promoting holistic well-being through regular yoga practice. NTPC Executive Director (Ramagundam & Telangana), Chandan Kumar Samanta, along with Deepthi Mahila Samithi president Rakhi Samanta, inaugurated the camp.
CK Samanta underlined the importance of yoga in maintaining both physical and mental health. He encouraged participants to make yoga a part of their daily routine for a healthier, more balanced life.
The sessions are being led by A Vijaya Kumar, who is serving as the yoga trainer. The camp has seen enthusiastic participation from General Managers, Heads of Departments, DMS members, employees and their families. Over 100 individuals have joined so far, reflecting growing awareness and commitment to health and wellness.
