Telangana: Slot booking, payment of charges made mandatory for registration of non-agri properties
With the registration of non-agricultural properties gaining pace, the Stamps and Registrations department on Wednesday issued guidelines to ease the registration process.
Hyderabad: Prior slot booking has been made mandatory for registration of documents pertaining to non-agricultural properties in the State. The applicants also should pay the stamp duty, transfer duty, registration fee and other charges payable for the transaction, in full at the time of slot booking itself.
With the registration of non-agricultural properties gaining pace, the Stamps and Registrations department on Wednesday issued guidelines to ease the registration process. Accordingly, the slots can be booked online through the departmental website ‘https://registration.telangana.gov.in‘. The applicants must provide details pertaining to the property transferor, transferee and the property transacted. Based on the property details entered, the market value of the property will be auto-populated by the system at the time of slot booking.
Further, the authorities also made available templates of deeds on the website for the applicants to register their properties. They can also prepare their own documents for the transactions. All the documents which are registered through slot booking will be registered, scanned and returned to the property transferor and transferee concerned on the same day of their presentation.
Further, the sub-registrars have been instructed to verify the prohibited properties announced by the State government and avail the autolock facility to prevent their registrations. The authorities concerned have been warned to strictly follow the guidelines or get ready to face action from their higher officials.
