Telangana: Special Officers to be appointed for municipalities and corporations
Of the 143 Urban Local Bodies in the State, the term of nearly 125 municipalities and corporations will be completed on Sunday

Hyderabad: As the term of a few municipalities and municipal corporations on the city fringes ended on Saturday and many more completing on Sunday, the State government will be appointing Special Officers for the urban local bodies.
Of the 143 ULBs, the term of nearly 125 municipalities and corporations will be completed on Sunday. This apart, a few more ULBs would also be completing their term on Monday and Tuesday, besides a few that had completed on Saturday.
Accordingly, like the Gram Panchayats, the State government will be appointing Special Officers for the ULBs as well.
