Hyderabad: The results of SSC Public Examinations 2021 are likely to be announced on Friday. Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy is expected to declare the results. In view of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the State government has cancelled the SSC Public Examinations and declared all Class X students as pass during the academic year 2020-21.

This is applicable to all students studying in the Government, Zilla Parishad, Aided, Private unaided and all schools under various managements. It was decided to award grades by duly considering students’ performance in the internal assessment marks for 20 per cent.

Given the pandemic situation, schools across the State have conducted only one formative assessment instead of two. The 20 per cent marks of the internal assessment will be scaled up to 100 per cent marks. Based on the final marks secured by a student a grade will be allotted.

Last year too, as all SSC Public Examinations could not be conducted due to the pandemic, all 5.34 lakh students were declared pass and were allotted grades considering their internal marks. A total of 1, 41,382 students including 83,799 girls and 57,583 boys had secured a 10/10 GPA in those exams.
