Telangana State cabinet meeting to be held on January 4
As the State government announced that Rythu Bharosa would be extended to farmers after Sankranti festival, the cabinet is expected to discuss the issue. This apart, it is also likely to discuss the issue of new ration cards and tourism policy
Hyderabad: The State cabinet meeting is likely to be held at 4 p.m. on January 4 at Secretariat. It was scheduled to be held on December 30 but was cancelled due to the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
As the State government announced that Rythu Bharosa would be extended to farmers after Sankranti festival, the cabinet is expected to discuss the issue. This apart, it is also likely to discuss the issue of new ration cards and tourism policy.
Regarding the issue of new ration cards, the cabinet is expected to discuss the modalities, especially income limit and receipt of applications. The Ministers are also likely to discuss the Power Commission, BC Dedicated Commission and SC Categorisation Commission reports.
