Telangana State Police Games and Sports Meet 2025 begins in Karimnagar
A total of 2,500 sports persons from 20 police zones are going to participate in 29 events to be held in 12 places
Karimnagar: The 3rd Telangana State Police Games and Sports Meet-2025 started on a colourful note here on Tuesday. Director General of Police (Intelligence) B Shivadhar Reddy inaugurated the meet at the police parade grounds here.
A total of 2,500 sports persons from 20 police zones are going to participate in 29 events to be held in 12 places.
Football, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, volleyball, Athletics, handball, wrestling, swimming, watersports, shuttle, badminton, judo, weightlifting, powerlifting, hockey, lane tennis, table tennis, yoga and other competitions will be conducted.
Arrangements have been made to conduct competitions at the CTC, Police headquarters, Ambedkar stadium, sports school, CPTC, Karimnagar club, GS Academy, Alugunur road and other places.
Director General of Police Dr Jitender will participate in the closing ceremony to be held at police parade grounds at 8 am on February 1.
