Telangana student bags first rank in APCET in mining category
B Meenakshi, a student of SCCL Polytechnic College, secured first rank in the mining category of the Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test by scoring 82 out of 200 marks. She credited her teachers, principal and parents for supporting her academic achievement.

Mancherial: A student from SCCL polytechnic college from the district achieved the first rank in Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test (APCET), for which results were declared on Saturday.
SCCL Polytechnic College Principal Deneel Kumar said B Meeniksha got the first rank by scoring 82 marks out of a total of 200 in the mining category of the CET. He congratulated the ranker and advised other students to draw inspiration from her. He opined that she brought recognition to the district and the coal major as well by excelling in the entrance test.
Meenakshi said that she would like to become a mining engineer by completing B Tech. She attributed her success to unwavering support extended by her principal, teachers Naveen Kumar and Suryaprakash. She thanked her parents for encouraging her to appear for the test.
