Telangana student shot dead in US
Praveen, a native of Keshampet Mandal in Shadnagar Constituency, Rangareddy district, was in his second year of a Master's program in the U.S. while working a part-time job. The tragic incident has left his family and community deeply shocked.
Hyderabad: A 27-year-old youngster from Hyderabad pursuing higher studies in the United States was shot dead by unidentified persons in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
According to information reaching here, Praveen from Keshampet mandal of Rangareddy district was pursuing his Masters studies in a university in Milwaukee. The second year student, son of Raghavulu and Rama Devi, to sustain himself was working part-time in a star hotel there while studying.
Praveen reportedly was shot at by unidentified persons at a beach near his place of stay. He collapsed and succumbed to the bullet shots before being shifted to medical care.
Praveen’s family was informed about the incident by his friends and a pall of gloom descended in his village. More details are awaited.
