Telangana: Students allege alcoholic teacher thrashes them severely in Asifabad
A student claimed that he received injuries on his hands and legs when the teacher hit him with a stick. He accused the teacher of punishing him after getting intoxicated. He wanted officials of the education department to take action against the teacher by probing into the incident.

A student claimed that he received injuries on his hands and legs when the teacher hit him with a stick. He accused the teacher of punishing him after getting intoxicated. He wanted officials of the education department to take action against the teacher by probing into the incident.
Meanwhile, many parents charged that they were hesitating to send their wards to the school considering the harassment of the alcoholic teacher. They requested the officials to take stringent action against the teacher by laying a special focus on the issue. They regretted that the students were showing disinterest to attend classes.
Officials of the education department were not available for a comment.
