Telangana students excel in CBSE Class X results, girls outdo boys

As per the press release issued by the CBSE on Tuesday, a total of 51,604 Class X students from Telangana registered for exams, 51,521 appeared and 51,433 passed

Hyderabad: Telangana students have come out flying colours in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X exams results, registering a staggering 99.83 percent of passes.

As per the press release issued by the CBSE on Tuesday, a total of 51,604 Class X students from Telangana registered for exams, 51,521 appeared and 51,433 passed.


Like in the Class XII results, girls have outperformed boys in the Class X results as well. As many as 22,960 girls students who appeared for the exams recorded a pass percentage of 99.86, whereas 28,561 boys secured 99.80 percent of passes.

This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.66 percent with 22,21,636 out of 23,71,939 students clearing the Class X exams.
