Telangana swimmers display Tricolour in pool to mark 80th Independence Day
India U17 women will play two friendly matches against Uzbekistan in Tashkent on August 27 and 30 as part of their preparations for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2027 Qualifiers. India are drawn alongside Malaysia, Syria and Iraq.
Hyderabad:On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, swimmers of the Sports Authority of Telangana showcased their patriotism in a unique and inspiring manner at the GMCB Aquatics Complex, Gachibowli.l, on Saturday.
The young swimmers, who regularly undergo training at the swimming pool, proudly displayed the National Flag in the swimming pool as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The innovative gesture by the young athletes reflected their deep sense of patriotism and respect for the nation.
The initiative was appreciated by Telangana Sports Authority Chairman Sri Sivasena Reddy, MD Dr. Soni Baladevi, and Administrator Sri Kannam Madhu, who congratulated the young swimmers for their enthusiastic participation and patriotic spirit.
The unique celebration by the swimmers added a special touch to the Independence Day festivities and inspired everyone present at the Aquatics Complex.
