Telangana swimmers shine at School Games Federation championship in Delhi
Telangana swimmers impressed at the School Games Federation of India championship in Delhi, winning four medals. M Suhas Preetham clinched gold in the under-19 200m backstroke, while D Varshith and Ishan won silvers and B Goutham Shashi Vardhan secured bronze
Hyderabad: Telangana swimmers M Suhas Preetham bagged a gold, D Varshith and Ishan a silver each, while B Goutham Shashi Vardhan won a bronze in the School Games Federation of India swimming championship in Delhi.
Preetham clinched gold in the 200m backstroke (under-19) with a timing of 2:06.28.
Varshith clocked 4:40.41 in the boys’ under-19 400m individual medley to settle for silver.
Ishan Das bagged silver in the boys’ under-17 50m butterfly event with a timing of 25.93, while his teammate B Goutham Shashi Vardhan clocked 26.25 for bronze.
