Telangana swimmers Suhas Preetham and Varshith shine at SGFI nationals

Telangana’s M Suhas Preetham won gold in the boys under-19 100m backstroke, while D Varshith claimed bronze in the 200m individual medley at the School Games Federation of India swimming championship in Delhi, showcasing the state’s rising talent

Delhi: Telangana swimmers M Suhas Preetham and D Varshith made their mark at the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) swimming championship in Delhi on Thursday.

Suhas clinched the gold medal in the boys under-19 100m backstroke, clocking 57.73 seconds. Varshith secured the bronze medal in the 200m individual medley with a timing of 2:12.15.
