Telangana Tamil Sangam celebrates Karthigai Vanabhojanam with Tamil Heritage at Puramanai Virundhu 2024:

Hyderabad: Telangana Tamil Sangam has announced an expanded celebration of Puramanai Virundhu 2024 (Vanabhojanam), on November 10 at Sanjeevaiah Park.
This annual event, which has become a hallmark of the season, honours the Karthigai Vanabhojanam tradition widely observed in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana while embracing authentic Tamil culture through cuisine, music, and dance.
The culinary experience will be the elaborate Vadai Payasam Sappadu, a South Indian three-course feast reminiscent of a Kalya Virundhu (marriage feast). Guests will enjoy traditional Tamil delicacies served on a banana leaf, featuring dishes such as sambar, rasam, paruppu, vadai, payasam, a variety of vegetables, varuval, and more.
The even highlights also include a showcase of Tamil heritage through live Bharatanatyam, traditional music, and other cultural performances, fun and games.
M.K. Bose, President of Telangana Tamil Sangam, shared, “Over the past years, Vanabhojanam has grown into a grand celebration, combining local traditions with Tamil culture.”
