Hyderabad: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Teachers and Employees Association on Wednesday urged the State government to constitute a committee for the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society for taking up temporary staff transfer/deputation under GO 190 as was being done in other departments.

In a statement, association president Ch Bala Raju and general secretary N Dayakar wanted the deputation/transfer process be carried out transparently under the supervision of the committee. “We insist that the entire process be subject to the committee’s approval,” they said.

The association urged society teachers and employees not to fall prey to false promises or be misled by the middlemen regarding their transfer/deputation. It expressed gratitude to the government for issuing G0 190 and providing relief to staff affected by the GO 317, which displaced employees from their native places.
