Hyderabad: In a fit of rage, a man bludgeoned his father to death at Narayanagudem village of Penpahad mandal in Suryapet district on Saturday.

It is said that Amar Simha Reddy, who worked in Canada as a software engineer, was addicted to alcohol and drugs.

Son kills mother in Wanaparthy district
A woman was allegedly murdered by her son at their house in Polkepahad village of Wanaparthy district on Friday. The deceased was identified as 45-year-old woman Mankali Kashamma, mother of Shiva, of Polkepahad village in Wanaparthy.
It is alleged that after a heated argument the accused Shiva grabbed the axe and attacked his mother.She suffered grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot.
