Siddipet: A-17-year old girl committed suicide at Latchapet in Dubbak Mandal of Siddipet district by hanging herself at her residence in the early hours of Saturday.
The victim was identified as Merugu Prathkeea, who was studying intermediate. While the locals said that the girl took the extreme step due to family disputes, the Dubbak Police launched an investigation to ascertain the motive behind her decision.
The body has been shifted to Area Hospital for postmortem..
