Anjith Kumar topped the list of meritorious students who applied for the course under the SC category, and declared on Monday. He left for Kerala on Wednesday. “I would like to excel in the field of fisheries, perform well in academics. No student who studied in a government educational institution has taken up this unconventional course from our community, Nethakani, so far,” Anjith told Telangana Today.

He thanked the principal of TSWR CoE Inala Saidulu and his teachers for extending all the support to him.

Hailing from remote Royyalapalli village in Kotapalli mandal, Anjith Kumar, the elder son of Rajaram, had scored 96 per cent in intermediate and 9.2 GPA in Class X.

Anjith was congratulated by TSWR Adilabad Regional Coordinating Officer (RCO) Koppula Swarupa Rani, Saidulu, teachers Mitta Ramesh, Gajula Rajender, Akenapalli Rajesh and Chanda Laxminarayana and non-teaching staff for securing the admission at the prestigious institution of the country.
