Telangana tenant farmer’s son bags seat at CIFNET, Kochi
Anjith Kumar topped the list of meritorious students who applied for the course under the SC category, and declared on Monday. He left for Kerala on Wednesday. “I would like to excel in the field of fisheries, perform well in academics. Mancherial: Kummari Anjith Kumar, son of a tenant farmer hailing from a weaker section, and student of Telangana Social Welfare Residential (TSWR) Centre of Excellence-Bellampalli, has bagged a seat in the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET) in Kochi. He is the first student from an underprivileged community to get an opportunity to pursue the four-year Bachelor of Fisheries Science (Nautical Science) course at the premiere institution.

He thanked the principal of TSWR CoE Inala Saidulu and his teachers for extending all the support to him.
Hailing from remote Royyalapalli village in Kotapalli mandal, Anjith Kumar, the elder son of Rajaram, had scored 96 per cent in intermediate and 9.2 GPA in Class X.
Anjith was congratulated by TSWR Adilabad Regional Coordinating Officer (RCO) Koppula Swarupa Rani, Saidulu, teachers Mitta Ramesh, Gajula Rajender, Akenapalli Rajesh and Chanda Laxminarayana and non-teaching staff for securing the admission at the prestigious institution of the country.
