Telangana: Three gates of Singur lifted
The project, which was having 24TMCft by Tuesday evening, has got a huge over one lakh inflow on Wednesday.

Sangareddy: Due to heavy rains in Manjira’s catchment area, the project gates have been lifted after a gap of three years in the early hours of Wednesday.
The project, which was having 24TMCft by Tuesday evening, has got a huge over one lakh inflow on Wednesday at 2 am when the irrigation authorities have lifted three gates of the projects to let the water flow downstream. Meanwhile, the Genco officials were also operating the Power plant. The project was having 28.776 TMCft water storage against its full storage capacity of 29.91TMCft. Over 68,000 cusecs of water is being released downstream from the project by lifting five crest gates while it was receiving an equal amount of the water from upstream.
