Telangana to be made $1trillion economy in 10 years, says Revanth Reddy
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced ambitious economic goals during State Formation Day, aiming for a $1 trillion economy in 10 years and $3 trillion by 2047, alongside GDP contribution growth and honours for contributors to the Telangana movement.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that in the next 10 years, Telangana would be developed into a one trillion USD economy and by 2047, it would transform into a three trillion USD economy.
Telangana’s contribution to national GDP would be increased to 10 percent by 2047 from the current five percent, he said at the State Formation Day celebrations here on Monday.
To achieve these targets, industrial policy, infrastructure policy and investment policies were introduced. All efforts were being made to ensure Telangana tops in welfare and development in the country, he said.
The Chief Minister presented Rs.1 crore cash award to each of the nine writers, artists and others, who played crucial roles in the separate Telangana movement. The awards were presented to Ekka Yadagiri Rao, Ande Sri, Suddala Ashok Teja, Jayaraju and Pasham Yadagiri.
Family members of late Gude Anjaiah, late Baladeer Gaddar and Bandi Yadagiri received the awards. On behalf of Goreti Venkanna, who is abroad, his daughter received the award. The prestigious Kaloji award was presented to Nelimela Bhaskar.
