Siddipet: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday announced that the State government would establish four veterinary colleges in four different parts of the State.

Addressing elected representatives and officials from Siddipet district here on Sunday after inaugurating the Integrated Collectorate Complex, Police Commissionerate and MLA Office here, the Chief Minister said the veterinary colleges would come up soon in Siddipet, Warangal, Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts, covering all the regions of Telangana.

Chandrashekhar Rao asked Finance Minister T Harish Rao and District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy to identify a piece of land close to Rajv Rahadhari in Siddipet where the current Collectorate and Police Commissionerate offices have been built.

Stating that the government had sanctioned several projects to Siddipet district, the Chief Minister said Siddipet will get more such developmental works in the future. Since “Siddipet is located in the heart of Telangana and the district has a great future in the coming days,” he added.
