Telangana to host state para athletics meet on January 29

The Telangana Para Athletics Association will host the eighth State para athletics championship at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Hyderabad on January 29. Top performers will be selected to represent Telangana at the Senior Nationals in Odisha next month

Hyderabad: Telangana Para Athletics Association will organise the eighth State para athletics championship at GMC Balayogi Stadium here on January 29, according to general secretary G Prashanth.

“The best performers from this championship will be selected to represent Telangana in the forthcoming Senior Nationals to be held in February in Odisha,” he said.

Competitions will be held in 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5km, javelin, discus, long jump, high jump and club throw.
