Telangana to see temperature drop; Cool nights ahead for next 48 hours

"Starting tonight, a significant drop in temperatures is expected across North Telangana districts, including Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Nizamabad, Jagital, Bhupalpally, and Karimnagar. Nights and mornings will be noticeably cooler, while daytime temperatures will remain warm, providing a much-needed relief from the heat," T Balaji posted on X.

Hyderabad: In a brief respite from hot weather, Telangana can look forward to drop in temperatures, especially during the night time, weather forecaster from Hyderabad, T Balaji on Wednesday posted on X.

“From tonight sharp drop in temperatures ahead in North Telangana districts like Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagital, Bhupalpally, Karimnagar districts. Night and morning will be pretty cool. Day will be warm, nice relief from heat ahead (sic),” T Balaji posted on X.

People in Hyderabad too can expect to get some respite from the hot weather. “Hyderabad too will have good drop in temperatures from tonight. However, due to urban heat island effect, core city many not be super chill, but noticeable drop in morning temperature expected. Outskirts will be pretty cool during morning hours. Days will be warm anyhow (sic),” he posted on X.

The reason for sudden drop in temperatures, according to Balaji is ‘Sudden cold winds coming from North India, a brief intense cold wave ahead in North Telangana. Between March 6 and 7, the morning temperatures will be between 10 and 12 degree Celsius. Day time will be 35-36 degree C (sic),” he posted on X.

“Hyderabad and South TG too will experience good relief from ongoing heat during March 5-7, morning temp will drop upto 14-15°C, day temp around 35-36°C After March 9, again heat rampage will start (sic),” he posted on X.
