Hyderabad: The southwest monsoon which brought surplus rainfall this year is very likely to withdraw over the State by second week of this month.
According to Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, monsoon is still on in the State and it could take another two weeks for withdrawal. However, the intensity of monsoon has come down in Hyderabad and other districts in the last three days.
On the other hand, temperatures have remained slightly above normal in the city. On Saturday, the highest temperature was 33.2 degree Celsius, which is two degree Celsius above normal while minimum temperature on Friday night was 24.3 degree Celsius.
During the last 24 hours, maximum temperature of 35.7 degree Celsius was recorded at Musheerabad and lowest temperature of 21.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Macha Bollaram.
The weather forecast with TSDPS indicated that there would mainly be dry weather with a possibility of light to moderate rain/ thundershowers at isolated places for next three days.
