Karimnagar: The two-day auto show jointly organised by Telangana Today and Namaste Telangana evoked a good response from the people on the first day on Saturday.

Besides two-wheelers and four-wheelers of all ranges, high-end cars of popular companies including electric vehicles were displayed at the show being held at the Ambedkar Stadium here. Vehicle lovers were seen visiting each stall and enquiring about the cost of vehicles and the advanced features offered. A few visitors were seen doing test drives of their favourite vehicles.

Along with automobile dealers of different companies, banks also set up their stalls to provide loans at the auto show.

Local MLA Gangula Kamalakar, inaugurating the show, appreciated Namaste Telangana and Telangana Today for organising the auto show for the convenience of local people. He said both newspapers, which have been in the front row in highlighting public issues, had come forward to meet the needs of the public by conducting the auto show. More people were now purchasing cars as the buying capacity of the public had gone up during the last ten years, he said.
