Medak: Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao has suspended two Armed Reserve (AR) constables after they were caught playing cards.
Acting on a tip-off, Task Force police raided a house at Venkataramana Colony in Medak town on Wednesday and found 12 persons engaged in gambling.
Police seized Rs. 74,464 in cash and 19 mobile phones at the scene. Among those apprehended were AR constables K. Anjaneyulu and J. Suresh. Following a detailed inquiry, the SP ordered their suspension on Thursday.
