Khammam: Two kids were killed in an accident at a temple at Wyra in the district during late night hours on Sunday.

The deceased, Pagadala Sahasra (8) and P Dedipya (6) accompanied a group of devotees at bhajan programme at Sri Abhayanjaneya Swamy Temple on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. An out of control SUV rammed into the temple compound wall and killed the kids, playing in the temple, on the spot.

A girl E Alekya, the vehicle driver M Pothu Raju and N Venkanna suffered injuries in the incident and were being treated at District Hospital in Khammam.
