Telangana: Two youths drown in Nizamabad

According to reports, the duo after offering prayers at a local dargah in Manchippa village went to have a dip at a nearby pond

Nizamabad: Two youths drowned while taking a dip in a pond in Manchippa village of Mugpal mandal of the district on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Syed Moosa and Syed Wasik from Hyderabad.

According to reports, the duo after offering prayers at a local dargah in Manchippa village went to have a dip at a nearby pond. As they were taking a dip, the two slipped into deep water and drowned. Locals, who noticed the incident, informed the police.

The police reached the spot with divers and retrieved the bodies of the two. The bodies were sent to the government hospital for postmortem. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
