Telangana: Vehicle transporting cattle for ‘slaughter’ seized at Ghatkesar
The auto trolley, coming from Andhra Pradesh into Hyderabad, intercepted by the police with the help of Gau Rakshaks

Hyderabad: A vehicle carrying cattle allegedly to be slaughtered was caught at Shivareddyguda in Ghatkesar on the city outskirts on Friday. A total of 10 cows were rescued.
As per available information, the auto trolley carrying the cattle which was coming from Andhra Pradesh into Hyderabad was intercepted by the police with the help of local Gau Rakshaks.
They caught two persons, driver and cleaner, and seized the vehicle.
The animals were shifted to Gaushala in Jiyaguda for providing shelter. The Ghatkesar police are investigating the case.
