Telangana: Vigilance raids continue at Karimnagar sub-registrar office

Vigilance officials are conducting checks at the Karimnagar sub-registrar office as part of statewide raids. They are verifying stamp duty, GST collections, and registration records to identify irregularities, procedural lapses, and possible revenue loss.

KARIMNAGAR: Vigilance officials are conducting checks in Karimnagar sub-register office and are checking records in various departments. Officials said the records of stamp duty payments, GST collection and others are being verified.

Speaking to reporters, Vigilance SP Srinivas said that as part of statewide raids, checks are being carried out in Karimnagar sub-register office. Various aspects, including irregularities in registrations, procedural lapses, revenue loss and others, were being verified. It was also verified whether the fee was collected properly, SP said.


Based on higher officials’ instructions, checks are being continued across the State.
