Telangana: Woman attempts suicide at lover’s house in Huzurabad
A woman from Jagtial allegedly tried to end her life at her lover’s house in Huzurabad after he got engaged to another woman. She consumed a bathroom cleaner and is being treated at Huzurabad Area Hospital
KARIMNAGAR: A woman allegedly attempted suicide by consuming a liquid bathroom cleaner at her lover’s house in Huzurabad on Sunday, reportedly after being cheated by him.
According to police, Rajitha from Jagtial and Vinod of Huzurabad had been in a relationship for the past five years. However, Vinod recently got engaged to another woman and asked Rajitha to end their relationship. Upset over his decision, Rajitha went to Vinod’s residence and consumed the bathroom cleaner in an attempt to end her life.
Police, on learning about the incident, rushed to the spot and shifted her to the Huzurabad Area Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
