Telangana: Woman killed, husband and son survive as car rams lorry

The couple, along with their son, was heading towards Kagaznagar from Hyderabad when the incident incident occurred

Mancherial: A 28-year-old woman was killed on the spot, while her husband sustained injuries when a car rammed a stationary lorry on NH 363 at Gangaramnagar in Bellampalli early on Tuesday.

Police said that Akku Renuka from Kagaznagar sustained severe injuries when the car rammed the lorry parked on the national highway, resulting in instantaneous death for her and injuries to her husband Raju, a mechanic from Hyderabad.

The couple, along with their son, was heading towards Kagaznagar from Hyderabad when the incident incident occurred. Their son, who was sitting in the back seat, survived without any injuries. Over speed is suspected to be the cause of the accident.
