To ensure the smooth election of Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Chairpersons and Deputy Chairpersons, the party appointed observers especially Ministers for each civic body. The nominees’ names for Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Chairpersons and Deputy Chairpersons were sent in a sealed cover.

Adhering to Covid-19 safety protocols, the State Election Commission (SEC) had made all arrangements for election of Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Chairpersons and Deputy Chairpersons. Necessary measures were taken to ensure that the seating capacity would not exceed 50 per cent.
