Telangana: Youth murdered by friends in Jagitial
A native of Bibirajupalli of Gollapalli mandal, Bakkasetti Raju along with his friends consumed liquor at a secluded place near Peddamma temple in the outskirts of Mothe village on Thursday night.
Jagitial: A 20 year-old youth was murdered by his friends near Mothe village of Jagitial mandal on Thursday night.
A native of Bibirajupalli of Gollapalli mandal, Bakkasetti Raju along with his friends consumed liquor at a secluded place near Peddamma temple in the outskirts of Mothe village on Thursday night.
After consuming liquor, some of the youths picked up an argument with Raju and attacked him with knives indiscriminately as the argument turned serious. Later, they fled from the spot. Passersby, who found Raju in a pool of blood, shifted him to Jagitial hospital wherein he was declared brought dead.
Knowing about the murder, police visited the hospital and begun investigation by registering the case. Police suspect that either love affair or old rivalry was reason for the murder.
A total of 10 youths were present when the killing took place. Two youths from Mothe and a person from Jabithapur were also present, police said. Efforts are to trace and arrest the accused.
