Hyderabad: State archer Aksha Reddy won gold medal in the compound event in the girls U-10 category at the 11th national field indoor archery championship, being held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The IV standard student of the Future Kids school from Nanakramguda took the top honours in the event that saw over 800 students in fray. She is being trained by coach Swamy. Aksha Reddy said she was delighted at the gold and promised to bring more laurels to the State in the future.
