Telangana’s Arush Reddy wins bronze at 68th National School Games Table Tennis Championship

Arush was defeated by West Bengal’s Debraj Bhattacharjee in the semifinals, with Debraj ultimately winning the title. Showing great resilience, Arush recovered to dominate the bronze medal match, winning 3-0 against Ajinsu Bhandari, also from West Bengal, and secured a podium finish for Telangana.

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Arush Reddy clinched the bronze medal in the 68th National School Games Table Tennis Championship held in Daman and Diu on Thursday.

Arush suffered a loss in the semifinals to West Bengal’s Debraj Bhattacharjee, who went on to win the title. Displaying resilience, Arush bounced back to dominate the bronze medal match with a commanding 3-0 victory over Ajinsu Bhandari, also from West Bengal, securing a podium finish for Telangana.


Results: Semifinal: Debraj Bhattacharjee (West Bengal) 3 bt Arush Reddy (Telangana) 0, Bronze medal tie: Arush Reddy (Telangana) bt Ajinsu Bhandari (West Bengal).
